Why I Created The Jamboree Club: A New Joint for Family Fun
After working full-time in public relations for nearly 15 years , I traded press releases and deadlines for diapers and nap schedules. Becoming a stay-at-home mom was one of the most rewarding (and isolating) chapters of my life. I missed making social connections and craved meaningful places to take my kids that felt safe, engaging, and fun.
Like many parents, I tried indoor playgrounds. They were fine… sort of. The kids had fun, sure, but the experience often felt lacking. Sporadic hours, cluttered chaos, no cozy spot for grown-ups to relax, and overpriced, processed snacks made it hard to call these places our “go-to.” Seven years (and plenty of lukewarm coffee) later, I realized what my family and so many others were still looking for: a reliable, family-friendly third space where connection, play, and community come together. Enter The Jamboree Club.
More than just another indoor play café or soft play space, The Jamboree Club is a community hub built from my love of parenting and the joy of experiencing live music. And as strange as it might sound, the two have more in common than you'd think:
